Terms, in plain English.

The short version: you pay for a check, we deliver a report, and the report shows you where your documents disagree without deciding who is right. If we fail to deliver, you get your money back. The longer version follows.

Who we are

SAG Portal is a trading name of Portalworks Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17364487, registered office Imperial House, 79–81 Hornby Street, Bury BL9 5BN. These terms apply when you use sagportal.co.uk or buy anything from us. By paying, you agree to them.

What you get

• Free check. Upload a pack once per event and receive, by email, the number of things that do not align and up to three of them in full. No payment, no obligation, and no refund because there is nothing to refund.
• Event Pass. One event, up to 15 documents. The full Consistency Report by email, with every finding cited to document and page, a drafted note for each document’s author, and unlimited re-checks of the same event for 90 days. Publishing the corrected pack as a secure portal for your Safety Advisory Group is done by us, on your request, usually within one working day.
• Festival Pass. As Event Pass, with no limit on the number of documents and large-format site plans included.
• Agency. A monthly subscription covering unlimited events and any number of people on your team, on the same terms as Festival Pass for each event.

Usual delivery is within the hour. A very large pack can take longer; the pass page shows progress.

Paying

Payment is taken by card through Stripe. Prices are in pounds sterling and are the prices shown; no VAT is added, as Portalworks Ltd is not VAT-registered. We never see or store your card number. Agency renews monthly until you cancel, which you can do at any time from the billing page linked in your emails.

Refunds

If your report is not delivered within 24 hours of a valid upload, tell us and we refund the pass in full. A valid upload is PDF documents within the limits shown on the upload page. Once a report has been delivered there is no refund, because the work has been done. Agency subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the paid month; we do not refund part-months.

What the check is, and is not

The Consistency Report is decision support, not certification. It surfaces where the documents in your pack disagree with each other, and cites both sides. It does not verify figures against the real world, decide which figure is correct, or judge whether an event is safe or lawful. The check reports; it never adjudicates. You, as organiser, remain responsible for the content of your pack and for what you submit to your Safety Advisory Group.

Some things a person would notice, the check will not. A number that is technically consistent but wrong, a document that is missing altogether, a risk nobody wrote down. It reads what is there.

Your side of it

• The link to your pass page is your access. Keep it private; anyone with it can see your reports.
• You must hold the rights to upload the documents you upload, and they must not contain anything unlawful.
• Re-checks are unlimited within fair use. If a single pass runs more than ten checks in a day we may pause it and get in touch.
• Do not use the service to check documents for anyone who has not agreed to these terms.

Your documents

We process the documents you upload only to run the check you asked for and, if you ask, to build your portal. They are held for 30 days after the last check on a pass, or 90 days for Agency, and then deleted. Our privacy page says who handles them and how they are protected. If you want something deleted sooner, ask and we will.

Liability

We will do the work with reasonable care and skill. Beyond the refund above, our liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the pass in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and law

If we change these terms, the version in force is the one published here when you paid. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
