SAG Portal’s Document Checker reads any event’s full safety pack, shows the organiser exactly where the documents contradict each other, and then allows you to publish the pack on a secure portal for the Safety Advisory Group members.
Why this exists
A set of documents for any event is written by many different people. The medical plan comes from the medical provider, the traffic plan from the traffic contractor, the crowd management plan from the security company, and each is revised as and when they have availability. As a result – inconsistencies appear; two capacities for the same site, three versions of the dates, last year’s schedule still sitting in this year’s appendix, etc.
Those contradictions usually surface in the meeting itself, in front of the exact people an organiser most wants to reassure. It’s important that the documents are right, so that you can use them for their intended purpose: reference during the live phase.
Who is behind it
SAG Portal was founded by an experienced events industry professional who has spent two decades producing and managing festivals, fan zones and city events across the UK, and who has prepared and presented a myriad of safety documentation to Safety Advisory Groups throughout that period.
How the Document Checker works
The reading itself is done by an AI tool built for this one job, working through every figure, date, name and cross-reference in every document, BUT, The method comes from human knowledge: a full register of the things a set of event documentation must cover and the places documents must agree, drawn from years of compiling these exact documents and real SAG scrutiny.
One principle governs every finding: the Document Checker reports, it never adjudicates as to what is correct. If two documents disagree on capacity, we show you both figures with their sources ≠ side by side, and the judgement about which is right stays where it belongs, with the organiser. The check also never sees the real world, so it will never tell you an event is safe. It tells you whether your paperwork agrees with itself.
